Meet the Breeders

Welcome to Blue Sky English Labradors! My husband Audie and I (Cherie) reside in Bryan, Texas. We have owned Labrador Retrievers for over 25 years. I remember my very first chocolate Labrador….I brought him home when I was a student in college. That is how I fell madly in love with the breed. Unfortunately, I found that my first Labrador had some health issues; and after that experience, I have made it my mission to understand how important health clearances are in Labrador Retrievers. I have some amazing friends/mentors that definitely steered me in the right direction to achieve my dreams of raising healthy Labradors.

Fast forward to several years ahead….I brought home the most amazing dark chocolate Labrador puppy and named him Jaxson. He was the most exceptional dog I have ever owned. Jaxson lived to be 14.5 years old and he was my heart; we had a bond that I have never shared with another pet. He was my best friend and devoted companion until the end of his life. I loved him dearly & will always miss him.

Malibu joined our family in the year of 2023 and what a blessing she has been. Not only did she filled a void in my life & help me adapt to my life without Jaxson, she led me to increase my knowledge about raising healthy Labradors. She led me to enter the world of competition. She expanded my love for labs. She has filled our life with new experiences, expanded our family of Labradors and filled our lives with great joy and love. Because of Malibu, we established Blue Sky English Labradors. We did it for two reasons: (1) because we wanted a puppy by Malibu to add to our family and (2) because we wanted to provide well-bred, healthy Labrador puppies for other Labrador-loving individuals and families to love.
